Private Client Paralegal

Are you an experienced Private Client Paralegal looking to take the next step in your legal career?A well-established and highly respected North West law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Paralegal to join its busy and growing Probate Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing Private Client experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive firm that actively invests in progression, including routes into a Solicitor Apprenticeship, CILEX qualification, or Training Contract.
The OpportunityJoining a friendly and collaborative team, you'll work closely with elderly clients and their families, handling a varied caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion.
This role offers excellent client contact and the chance to build upon your technical knowledge while developing long-term career prospects within a respected regional practice.
Key ResponsibilitiesManaging your own caseload of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney mattersTaking instructions from clients and providing professional adviceDrafting Wills and LPAsMaintaining and updating the case management systemLiaising with clients, families, care homes and third partiesAttending clients at nursing homes and private residencesPreparing correspondence and legal documentationEnsuring files are accurately maintained and compliantSupporting the wider Probate team as required

About YouTo be considered, you should have:Previous experience handling Wills and LPA matters from instruction to completionStrong knowledge of Private Client work, including Wills, LPAs and ideally Estate AdministrationExcellent communication and client care skillsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailA proactive and positive approach to workA genuine interest in building a long-term career within Private Client lawA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
