Private Client Assistant Manager

Asan Assistant Manager within the Private Client Tax team in London, you will manage and deliver a thorough and high-quality tax compliance andadvisory service to a range of clients. This includes managing and developingmore junior members of the team whilst reviewing their work. You will work withthe partner and other colleagues on a variety of planning projects andtechnical assignments and be involved in business development opportunities. Youwill make an impact by:

• Managing the tax compliance process for a range of varied clients.
• Leading and delivering specialist technical assignments.
• Collaborating with partners and directors to help develop new business within the team and build on existing relationships.
• Playing an active role in developing the junior members of the team.
• Building relationships with all other departments to ensure all potential client needs are identified and serviced.
• Briefing junior staff on the client's business and the pre-assignment instructions; supervising and controlling the completion of work; and undertaking 'on the job' training where necessary.

• CTA qualified preferable, or experience at Assistant Manager level.
• Understanding and practical experience of the tax issues relating to a range of private clients.
• Experience in client handling and project management.
• Tax experience in producing high quality work within budget.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax compliance and advisory projects whilst being confident at developing and maintaining relationships internally and externally.
• An interest in mentoring and developing junior members of staff.
