We are delighted to beoffering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic ClinicalPsychologistto support the delivery ofassessment andinterventionswithin the dedicated Eating Disorders Team in Cardiff and ValeEmotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Service.The successful applicant will be joininga thriving, friendlyMulti DisciplinaryTeam, where delivering high quality and safe careis central to the team'svalues.
You will provide specialist psychological and therapeutic assessments and interventions for Children and Young people referred to the Eating Disorders team. Supporting the development of formulations and diagnosis, and the delivery of care. As an experienced Clinical Psychologist, you will have experience and knowledge in carrying a service usercaseload, including assessing service users with complexneeds, supporting families with careplanningand designing and delivering specialist psychologicalinterventionswithin CAMHS Eating Disorder services.
A keen interest to develop knowledge and skills in this field anda strong desireto help service users and families is vital.
Care co-ordination, consultation, supervision and supporting other members of the multi-disciplinary team will be key aspects of the role, as well as partnership working with health,educationand social care.
