Full Job Description

  • We define the strategic direction, architecture, governance, and continuous improvement of our PLM capabilities as the technical authority and subject matter expert for the organisation
  • We support PLM rollout and testing
  • We train end users on our PLM system
  • We configure the PLM system to suit business needs
  • We create packages for deployment
  • We provide SME administration for the system
  • We develop business reports from within the system
  • We provide advice and support to help shape the future PLM roadmap
  • We monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform future PLM strategy

This Principal PLM Engineer role is based at our Barnstaple, Bristol, or Beckington sites, with flexible working available.     Significant experience working with enterprise PLM platforms and engineering data management solutions
  • Deep understanding of product lifecycle processes, configuration management, engineering change control, and product data governance
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting PLM solutions in a manufacturing, engineering, or product development environment
  • Strong understanding of systems integration principles and enterprise architecture
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Knowledge of the ARAS Innovator PLM system
  • Development skills using Visual Basic or C#
  • SQL experience
