The Statutory Services Delivery Team (SSDT), part of the UK Technical Maritime Services Directorate (UKTMS), supports the Government's Maritime Strategy for "Safer Ships, Cleaner Seas." You will work closely with surveyors and business support teams to deliver a consistent, efficient service, drive continuous improvement, and ensure stability processes and procedures remain effective, up to date, and aligned to MCA business objectives. Your responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:
Undertake stability approval tasks and plan approval tasks, for the most complex cases, to ensure compliance with UK and international requirements. Oversee the coordination of stability approval activities across the Survey and Inspection Network Act as subject matter expert (SME) for stability matters across UKTMS, providing authoritative technical advice.
