Principal Infrastructure and Delivery Officer

We're looking for an experienced planning professional to lead on infrastructure planning and delivery across the borough. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting sustainable growth, influencing major development projects and helping to deliver thriving communities. As Principal Infrastructure and Delivery Officer, you'll lead the Council's approach to infrastructure funding and delivery, oversee CIL and Section 106 contributions, negotiate on strategic development schemes and manage a small professional team. Working closely with developers, infrastructure providers, elected Members and partner organisations, you'll help turn plans into reality. We're seeking a proactive and commercially aware planning professional with experience of complex development or infrastructure projects, strong stakeholder management skills and a passion for delivering positive outcomes. The post is offered on a permanent, full time basis (36 hours per week).
