Principal Data Architect

They are looking to engage a Principal Data Architect to define the architecture and design of enterprise data products across Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure and Databricks.
Key ResponsibilitiesDefine architecture and solution designs for enterprise data productsLead data modelling, integration and governance across Snowflake, Fabric, Azure and DatabricksProvide direction across CDC, streaming, API access and ETL / ELT patternsEstablish standards for data security, access controls and regulatory complianceGuide complex data migration from RDBMS, SAP, Salesforce, GIS and other enterprise systemsAlign technical solutions with business, analytics and engineering stakeholdersSupport AI, machine learning and advanced analytics use cases through scalable data architecture
Key Skills & ExperienceStrong Data Architecture background within large-scale enterprise environmentsEnd-to-end cloud data platform delivery experience using Snowflake, Fabric and AzureDeep Snowflake experience, including Snowpark, SnowPipe, Dynamic Tables, Cortex Analytics and RBACStrong understanding of data modelling, ELT pipelines, data virtualisation, streaming and integration patternsExperience with tools such as Databricks, Matillion, Alteryx, Qlik, Power BI, AzureML and ERStudioStrong knowledge of data security, GDPR, SoX and regulated access control environmentsExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and business leadership teams
