Principal Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

This is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Civil Engineer to join our team, delivering innovative infrastructure projects across the South West and beyond. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of developments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions while benefiting from flexible working and excellent career development opportunities., You'll lead the technical delivery of civil infrastructure projects across a range of sectors, working from concept and planning through to detailed design and construction support. You'll collaborate with colleagues across our buildings, environmental and transportation teams to deliver integrated solutions, while mentoring junior engineers and technicians and supporting the continued growth of the Bristol team. YOUR IMPACT You will:

• Lead the technical delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
• Design and review highway and drainage infrastructure.
• Deliver projects from concept through to construction.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Liaise with local authorities, highway and drainage authorities, utility companies and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to a high technical standard.
• Support business development and contribute to the growth of our Bristol team.
• Help deliver innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
  
  You'll have a BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with significant consultancy experience delivering civil infrastructure projects. Ideally, you'll be professionally qualified or working towards Chartered Engineer status .
You'll also have:
• Strong experience in highway and drainage design from concept through to detailed design.
• Good knowledge of relevant UK standards and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience leading projects and working with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and project management skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers and technicians.
• Experience with Civil 3D and InfoDrainage would be advantageous.
• A passion for sustainable, high-quality engineering solutions.
