  • Oversee the development and delivery of echocardiography education programmes and materials.
  • Independently interpret findings and issue final clinically diagnostic reports to a highly competent professional standard.

    Clinical scientist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • BSE accreditation in both adult and stress-echocardiography
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development Education
  • ILS certified, Proven experience at a supervisory level in specialist area. Experience of training scientific and medical staff. High level of knowledge of all aspects of specialist subject. Evidence of active CPD.
  • High level of clinical competence in stress-echocardiography and ability to supervise staff in specialist section of the cardiac science/cardiac physiology with upto-date knowledge of current trends in cardiac research and practice.
  • Informal teaching of complex physiological concepts on a one to one basis
  • Competence in PC word processing, spreadsheet and database software. Good written and oral communication skills., Significant managerial experience with post-grad management qualifications.
  • Peer reviewed research Publications
  • Experience of conducting audits of echocardiography services, Ability to train staff in the postholder's Specialist field.
  • Ability to innovate practice developments and advances in the field of Echocardiography.
