Join us at Barclays as a Collateral Management-Prime Brokerage/Global Netting Manager. In this role you will provide critical experience and expertise to the Barclays collateral function supporting the Prime Business, contributing strongly to the day-to-day margin activity and the successful delivery of regulatory compliance. The Collateral and Margin teams are a key first line of defence function and this role will ensure strong delivery, control and oversight of potential risks as well as manage client service and interactions across the teams. You will partner closely with colleagues across the function as well as a diverse group of stakeholders across business and infrastructure teams., To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.,
- Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
- Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
- Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
- Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
- Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness., To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions.

Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward outcomes.

Experience within Collateral Management/Prime Brokerage or industry equivalent experience. - Markets background.
- Investment operations.
- Influence to proactively manage diverse internal stakeholder groups including Sales, Trading & Product Control.
- Experience of managing a team and working collaboratively with other teams within the business., Strong quantitative and numerate skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including relationship management, communication and teamwork.
- Track-record of delivery in a significant business-facing role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job specific technical skills.
