About the Role


Dixons Cottingley Primary and Dixons Allerton Primary are seeking enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed teachers to join our pool of supply staff for both day-to-day and long-term teaching opportunities.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to teach across a range of year groups, delivering engaging, high-quality lessons, maintaining excellent classroom environments, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.


Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the primary age range.

  • Plan and deliver lessons for long-term placements, or deliver pre-prepared lessons for day-to-day cover.

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in line with school policies.

  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on pupil progress where appropriate.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and school leaders.

  • Adapt confidently to different classes, year groups, and school environments.


We Are Looking For


The successful candidate will have:



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.

  • Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach to teaching.

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality education and ensuring every child succeeds.


Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also welcome to apply.
