Full Job Description

The DCNPCN Administrator will provide administrative support to the Primary Care Network Manager and the Clinical Director/TeamUP Clinical Lead. The role will support the operational team in the delivery of the Primary Care Network Directed Enhanced Service (PCN DES), Team UP services, our DCPC Ltd business administrative support and supporting the Network to meet future ambitions. Working closely with the PCN Leadership Team and Partner Practices, the post holder will have primary responsibility for the administration of Team UP invoices, PCN finances, the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS), and other Enhanced Services and administrative work in support of the PCN. This role requires strong organisational and time-management skills; the ability to work under pressure with a methodical approach; a good level of maths/bookkeeping skills; able to work as part of a small team; possibly with experience of working within the NHS. It offers an excellent opportunity for the right
candidate to gain knowledge and experience in Primary Care. Support the Network in the administration and monitoring of contractual requirements relating to the PCN DES, TeamUP, other PCN contracts. Organise meetings, prepare agendas and take accurate notes and minutes. Work on SystmOne to update rotas, support issues from PCN teams, liaise with IT and deal with tasks. Take ownership of the day-to-day administrative requirements of the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS), including submission and monitoring of reimbursement claims, supported by the PCN Manager Inputting information onto Xero, creating invoices and keeping the system updated. Act as the day-to-day point of contact for PCN-related administration queries from practices and stakeholders. Work with the PCN Manager to support collaborative working across local providers, patient groups and voluntary and third-sector organisations. Ensure all work is undertaken in line with NHS policies, confidentiality requirements and
data protection legislation. Travel between PCN practices as required to support the delivery of the role. Recognise the roles of other colleagues within the PCN and in other organisations and their role to patient care. Demonstrate use of appropriate communication to gain the co-operation of relevant stakeholders (including patients, senior and peer colleagues, and other professionals, other NHS/private organisations) Demonstrate ability to work as a member of a team. Recognise personal limitations and refer to more appropriate colleague(s) when necessary. Actively work toward developing and maintaining effective working relationships both within and outside the practice, PCN and locality Foster and maintain strong links with all services across locality. Demonstrate ability to integrate general practice with community and hospital teams. Liaise with other stakeholders as needed for the collective benefit of patients.
