Full Job Description
- Develop rate proposals that support and optimise retail performance, through analysis of mix, demand, and loss ratio trends.
- Ensure rate changes are approved, accurately implemented, and deliver the intended value.
- Conduct competitor and market activity analysis to inform pricing strategies.
- Support the development of new deals, offers and product testing initiatives.
- Ensure the customer is at the heart of all pricing decisions, ensuring fair value is delivered, with a strong focus on the impact on existing customers.
- Data reconciliation, ensuring thorough process documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with managers, peers, and stakeholders. Work arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
- Experience in an Insurance Pricing role (preferred)
- Degree (2:1 or higher) in a mathematics-related discipline
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, with knowledge of tools like R, Python, or similar, and statistical techniques (advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to build stakeholder relationships and gain buy-in
- Resilient and motivated, able to persevere through setbacks and work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Eager to learn and continuously develop skills
