Prevention and Intervention Officer

The overall purpose of the role will be to deliver inclusive, community-focused education programmes that promote safety across all age groups in South Yorkshire. The role aims to reduce risks related to road traffic collisions, water safety, fire safety, and anti-social behaviour fires by analysing incident data to develop targeted initiatives. Acting as a key liaison for district teams, the role fosters collaboration between Community Safety and Emergency Response, ensuring cohesive prevention strategies. It also embeds safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion principles into all activities, ensuring appropriate referrals and inclusive engagement with diverse communities.
