Full Job Description
Bedford Prep School is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Science Technician to play a key role in supporting the delivery of an engaging and practical science curriculum.
Working closely with our teaching staff, you will prepare and maintain equipment, resources and experiments, ensuring lessons run smoothly and safely. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines practical laboratory work, organisation and collaboration, helping to bring science to life for pupils across the Prep School.
For those who are interested in a further step, there may be the possibility of applying to be a Live-In Tutor in the Prep School Boarding House or/and a Form Tutor role.
An average of 40.5 hours per week, (including Saturday mornings during term time when the school is in session). Actual hours of work will be 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.30 - 1.00pm on Saturday when the school is in session. The role is term time only plus 2 weeks in the school holidays, to be agreed with the Line Manager.
