Full Job Description

We are seeking a Premises Assistant to help us ensure that the school sites are clean, secure and safe for all users. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the general care, maintenance and servicing of academy buildings and grounds
  • Working within current health and safety legislation
  • Providing a customer-facing / positive service
  • Helping to maintain a clean, safe, hygienic and secure site

    Practical skills in maintenance and cleaning: DIY, painting &decorating, general garden maintenance etc
  • Experience of maintaining health & safety in a workplace
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Full clean driving licence with access to own transport
  • The ability to work as part of our team and independently

    Actual starting salary: £25,583 per annum
  • Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments,
  • Automatic annual pay increments: Pay progression is not linked to performance and all our staff benefit from automatic pay progression (subject to the maximum salary for the role). Cost of living awards are also reviewed annually.
