NBT pharmacy are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiatic team member to join their nationally recognised Pre-Op Surgery team. This part time post will work alongside other MDT members to support patients manage their medications safely in the Pre and Peri-Operative period for our elective surgical specialities in Orthopaedics, Plastics, Vascular, GI surgery and Renal transplantation.

The role also involves the support and management of pharmacists providing cover to our surgical speciality wards and supporting the specialities with governance and clinical expertise. With the imminent introduction of EPMA to the hospital, we are also looking for staff interested in taking this opportunity to review and develop our services in new directions to provide excellent patient centred care., Responsible for the efficient and effective provision, management, and development of the appropriate clinical pharmacy service in accordance with Medicines legislation, the Code of Ethics of the GPhC, RPS hospital pharmacy standards, UKMI standards and Trust policies and procedures.Provides specialist clinical pharmacy services at a high level to the Pre-Op pharmacy Surgical Team. Teaches and supervises less experienced colleagues, pharmacists, technicians, and students.
