Full Job Description

The Award Winning PICuP Clinic are recruiting a specialist clinical psychologist who is able to provide a highly specialist psychology service, including cognitive behavioural therapy for psychosis (CBTp) and trauma focussed CBT (TF-CBT) and/or EMDR, to outpatients with ongoing distressing symptoms of psychosis, bipolar disorder and/or secondary emotional difficulties and trauma, involving specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation and monitoring of outcomes. The suitable candidate will be able to provide specialist training in an area of expertise related to psychological interventions in psychosis and related emotional problems to colleagues in South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM), other NHS trusts and universities, nationally and internationally. The will be able to provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate, in CBT, EMDR and/or FI for psychosis andspecialist supervision and training to mental health professionals through close links
with the Psychology Department at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology course, and Post-Graduate Diploma and Certificate in CBT for psychosis courses nationally.
