Practitioner Psychologist - Part time

This is an opportunity to work as a Practitioner Psychologist in a service for care and support for men aged 18 years and over who experience mental health difficulties, and have been detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. You will be responsible for delivering evidence-based individual and group interventions, cognitive assessments, and risk assessments as part of a multidisciplinary team., As a Practitioner Psychologist, you will be providing specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and individualized evidence-based psychological interventions for people with complex mental health difficulties. You will also be communicating complex and sensitive information to colleagues, service users, and other professionals, supporting and promoting open cultures within teams and services, and managing a complex caseload as a ward Psychologist. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical supervision to assistant psychologists and/or trainees, supporting staff development through training, consultation, and reflective practice sessions, and contributing to service developments within the psychology team and wider service.
