Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Band 7 Clinical Psychologist (1wte). This is a dynamic post in the Coastal CAMHS team working in clinics at both Worthing and Chichester CAMHS.
As part of the CAMHSteamyou will join other clinical psychologists in providing assessments, formulation, individual and group interventions and consultation using a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, systemic and EMDR.
You will receive high standards of supervision including primary supervision packages in CBT and secondary in EMDR, DBT as required.CAMHSsupporta number ofinnovative audit and evaluation projects, run groupsfor young people and parent/carers and provide training toPsychDcourses and the SPFT New to CAMHS training.
You will join the West Sussex Psychology and Psychological Therapies group contributing to our innovation and commitment to ongoing service improvement and compassionate care.You will also join an established group of CAMHS Clinical Psychologists who have strong links with Surrey University and offer Trainee PsychD placements.You will access clinical supervision training through Surrey University and will develop your clinical supervision skills by supervising Assistant Psychologists and Trainee Clinical Psychologists.
We are very passionate about growing and developing our clinical psychologists in West Sussex and welcome applications from 3rdyear Trainee Clinical Psychologists., The Band 7 will join the other psychologists in providing assessment (including neurodevelopmental), formulation, individual and group interventions and consultation using a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, systemic and EMDR. The Band 7 will work closely with their team colleagues, the local 8a Clinical Psychologist and 8b Principal Psychologist and the Service Manager. You will receive high standards of supervision including secondary supervision packages in CBT, IPT, EMDR, DBT, ASD and group work.
