As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key leadership role within our newly established Child Protection Enquiry Teams, supporting the Team Manager and ensuring high-quality safeguarding practice.,
- Provide leadership and oversight in screening requests for intervention where children are suspected to be suffering significant harm.
- Offer advice and support to Family Help Teams.
- Assist with allocation of work and case progression.
- Deputise for the Team Manager when required.
- Undertake complex casework within Children and Family Services.
- Share and communicate thorough knowledge of legislation, national standards, guidance, and departmental policy through group supervision.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate professionals who are committed to making a difference. The ideal candidate will have: - A degree in Social Work and completion of ASYE.
- Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
- Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
