Full Job Description

Grove Medical Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team for 16 hours per week across 2-3 days. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and enjoys working autonomously within a busy primary care setting.

You will play a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our diverse patient population through chronic disease management, cervical screening, immunisations, health promotion, wound care and preventative healthcare. You will also lead on Infection Prevention and Control, contributing to the ongoing quality and safety of our services.

If you are a Registered Nurse with experience in primary care or community nursing and are looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to patients and the local community, we would love to hear from you., As a Practice Nurse at Grove Medical Centre, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care across a range of clinical services within a busy and supportive primary care environment. The role offers a varied workload, including the management of long-term conditions, health promotion, cervical screening, immunisations, wound care and preventative healthcare.

You will work closely with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to support patients in managing their health, promote wellbeing and deliver evidence-based care. The successful candidate will also lead on Infection Prevention and Control, helping to maintain high standards of quality, safety and regulatory compliance across the practice.

This role requires a nurse who is confident working both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with patients, contribute to service improvement initiatives and play an active role in supporting the health needs of our diverse local community.

The position is ideally suited to an experienced Practice Nurse or Community Nurse who enjoys delivering holistic care, supporting patients to achieve positive health outcomes and contributing to the ongoing development of primary care services.
