Practice Nurse

As the sole nurse based at your branch surgery, you will enjoy a varied and autonomous role, building strong relationships with patients and making a real difference to their health and wellbeing. While you will work independently day-to-day, you will have the support of an experienced nursing colleague at our sister branch, providing opportunities for collaboration, advice, and professional support.

If you are a caring, motivated nurse who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and values continuity of care, we would love to hear from you., The successful candidate will provide a high standard of nursing care to our patient population, supporting the management of long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and hypertension. The role will include undertaking NHS Health Checks, performing cervical smear tests, administering childhood immunisations and adult vaccination programmes, including seasonal flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, and delivering wound care and dressings. The Practice Nurse will also play an important role in promoting health and wellbeing, supporting infection prevention and control procedures, maintaining accurate clinical records, and contributing to the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
