Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has risen at Beauchamp House Surgery in Chelmsford for an experienced full time Practice Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The following are the core responsibilities of this role. There may be on occasion a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent on factors such as workload and staffing levels: Main responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional levels of care to all patients
  • Conducting health assessments and screening programs
  • Working autonomously and as part of a team
  • Administering immunisations and vaccinations to both children and adults
  • Providing wound care and dressing services
  • Offering advice on family planning and sexual health
  • Carrying out cervical cytology
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to GDPR guidelines
  • Referring patients to secondary/specialist care as required

    A relevant nursing degree
  • Current NMC registration with an active PIN
  • Experience in chronic disease management
  • Training in Diabetic management, Asthma and COPD would be desired

    Beauchamp House Surgery is a well-established and welcoming practice with a list size of just under 12000 patients and consists of 5 GP Partners, 3 GP registrars, 1 salaried GP, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 4 Practice Nurses and 2 Health Care Assistants alongside a great management, administration, secretarial and reception team who are always happy to help. Beauchamp House Surgery works alongside 3 other practices to form the Chelmsford and City Health PCN Limited which provides greater access to additional support needs for our patients, we see that by working together we can survive, adapt, evolve and improve together as general practices, which will have positive benefits for our patients, their families, our local community, and for our staff.
