Full Job Description
This exciting opportunity has become available following the announced retirement of our current Practice Manager. We are aiming for a start date in January 2027 to ensure a smooth transition. The Village Surgery is a traditional GMS practice operating from a health centre in Timperley, a suburb of Altrincham. We are extremely proud of our loyal patient base; we care for up to four generations of the same family and have a very stable practice population. We are also delighted to have achieved a rating of Good in all areas on our recent CQC inspection (13/07/2026). Our Vision: We aim to remain a trusted cornerstone of health and wellness in the community. Through a balance of traditional values, innovation, and training, supported by a cohesive team, we will deliver compassionate care for generations to come, We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and experienced Practice Manager to lead our dedicated team and oversee the safe, effective operational management of the practice. Recently, a highly experienced member of our internal staff was promoted to Deputy Practice Manager. A key element of this role will be working closely alongside them as an effective management team. This will involve providing mentorship and helping to train the Deputy Practice Manager as they settle into their new responsibilities. Supported by the GP Partners, the Deputy Practice Manager, and the Office Manager, you will be able to focus on strategy, compliance, finance, and continuing our tradition of excellent patient care.,
