Practice Education Facilitator

Facilitate practice development within the the endoscopy team, creating an effective learning environment. This will include all members of the team.

Develop and maintain policies and documentation.

Design and implement programs for new starters including induction and competencies.

Ensure that a robust training program is in place in line with JAG

Support the unit/backfill when there are staff shortages.

The Practice Education Facilitator will continually facilitate a culture of life long learning and develop knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and values expected of endoscopy nurses, technicians and healthcare staff., To work closely with all members of the team and ensure that they are accountable and competent within their roles.

Coordinate and monitor and support staff ensuring that they are delivering high standards of care to patients.
