Full Job Description

The primary focus of this role is to support the growth of competence and confidence in clinical knowledge and skills in practice across the clinical teams based at Chestnut Tree House, to ensure patient safety and effective clinical risk management. This is achieved by facilitating the organisational competency framework, encouraging active learning and the transference of skills from underpinning theory to practice., The post holder will work under the leadership of the Lecturer Practitioner/Head of Education role modelling evidence based best practice and competence in clinical skills across the clinical teams, encouraging individual enquiry and advocating a personal responsibility for learning. The post will support and develop staff to provide high quality, holistic, patient centered and compassionate care which meets the complex clinical needs of children and young people requiring special palliative care interventions and end of life care.

Martlets provides essential care to people affected by terminal illness in Brighton and Hove and surrounding areas. Our expert teams provide the very best care and support, helping patients and their loved ones to live life to the full during the precious time they have together.
