You will play a key role in implementing learning from governance, national guidance and quality improvement work, helping to improve outcomes for women, babies and families.
You will also support the maternity service to achieve and maintain compliance with national maternity standards, including the Maternity Incentive Scheme, through education, competency assessment and practice development.
The successful candidate will maintain a visible clinical presence, supporting staff in practice, developing competencies and promoting a culture of continuous learning across all maternity areas.

Work closely with the Deputy Director of Midwifery, Consultant Midwife, Matrons and wider Education Team to ensure learning from incidents, audits, national guidance and quality improvement initiatives is embedded into everyday practice.
Support the maternity service to achieve and maintain compliance with national maternity standards, including the Maternity Incentive Scheme, through education, competency assessment and practice development.
