Full Job Description

A role in the Global Comms team to help drive and support the PR team's social media strategy and grow your knowledge of the world of Comms. As the PR team's dedicated social media expert, you'll play a key role in developing its social media activities: sharing our news, shining a light on our media successes and building on and extending our LinkedIn executive programme. You will work closely with PR Managers, PR agency partners, the SAP Emarsys Content, Marketing & Social Media teams, as well as senior business leaders from across the organisation as you amplify our news and earned media coverage, build executive profiles and grow your business understanding. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Internal Support

  • Developing and maintaining a social media calendar for the PR team covering news, earned media coverage and posts by the Executive Team.
  • Input to general PR team campaigns planning, ensuring plans include social media recommendations.
  • Reviewing the LinkedIn profiles of Executive Team members and recommending strategies to enhance their profiles.
  • Drafting social media copy for Executive Team members, obtaining internal sign off and distributing approved posts.
  • Identifying the best news stories and medis coverage to share as part of this programme and devising appropriate Exec posts.
  • Drafting social media copy for use by the wider SAP Emarsys team on their LinkedIn profiles (similar to previous LinkedIn Recommended Content to share PR coverage).
  • Creating and sourcing social media collateral to enhance posts - content for carousels, creative cards, videos and photographs
  • Monitoring LinkedIn activity and tracking engagement to produce a monthly report
  • Reviewing social media strategy on a quarterly basis and adjusting as necessary.
  • Be an advocate for SAP's Get Social programme and update the team on key developments here
  • Agency Support
  • Keeping agencies informed of our LinkedIn programme
  • Sharing ideas with Edelman in Germany on topics and posts
  • Attend weekly agency meetings to keep up to date with PR activity across regions

    Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent understanding of and experience using social media platforms, specifically LinkedIn
  • Comfortable in liaising with and communicating professionally with members of the Executive Team
  • Organised and adaptable in managing workload / workstreams
  • Comfortable speaking to partners and stakeholders across the business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
