Powertrain Production Operations

Powertrain Production Operations delivers JLR's next-generation propulsion systems. Based at EPMC, this role supports the development and execution of MP&L strategies, ensuring efficient operations and seamless programme launches. WHAT TO EXPECT You will drive the implementation of lean, cost-effective logistics solutions to support current and future programmes. Alongside this, you will:

• Develop and optimise material flow and logistics strategies
• Support programme delivery to ensure smooth operations and flawless launches
• Use BoM tools (Plan for Every Part) to design effective solutions
• Implement and improve linefeed and end-to-end material flow systems
• Deliver value stream improvements balancing cost, inventory, and space
• Support automation and system implementation across material flow processes

• Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel
• Experience in industrial logistics and simulation
• Process mapping and solution implementation capability
• Practical problem-solving with measurable benefits
• SAP/MRP experience (material flow, routing)
