Full Job Description

  • Support and drive delivery across Titan, ViCTOR and ARES, maintaining clear priorities, milestones and ownership.
  • Titan / ViCTOR: Support Titan delivery and the transition from ViCTOR, coordinating development, testing, assurance, release and dependencies.
  • ARES: Manage the automation delivery pipeline, ensuring priorities, dependencies, blockers and readiness are actively managed.
  • Delivery control: Maintain accurate Jira plans, RAID, dependencies and delivery status.
  • Team leadership: Run effective delivery ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
  • Risk & escalation: Proactively resolve blockers and escalate risks to Senior Delivery Manager, dependencies or decisions requiring senior intervention.
    • Expected outcomes
  • Delivery across Titan, ViCTOR and ARES is controlled and transparent.
  • Priorities, ownership and next steps are clear.
  • Risks and dependencies are identified and addressed early.
  • Delivery ceremonies drive decisions and action rather than administration.
  • Senior intervention is focused on exceptions, escalations and decisions, rather than routine delivery management.
  • Senior Delivery Manager capacity is released to focus on Application Platforms portfolio leadership, strategic priorities and senior stakeholder engagement.
    • This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance. As part of the onboarding process candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard; details of the evidence required to apply may be found on the government website Gov.UK. If you are unable to meet this and any associated criteria, then your employment may be delayed, or rejected. Details of this will be discussed with you at interview.
