Full Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join the Medical Education Team to provide support to Postgraduate Medical Staff working within CWP., The main duty of the role is to organise the delivery of the postgraduate curriculum for resident doctors that are on placement within CWP, and to provide educational support to all medical staff within the trust. These will include, but are not limited to:
- Organisation of inductions, teaching and other postgraduate events
- Be a single point of contact for all resident doctors working within CWP
- Provide administrative support to the CWP Educational Supervisors
- Participate in regional postgraduate meetings
- Be a key part of the medical education team at CWP
- Processing and authorisation of medical study leave application, All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. - Educated to degree level or equivalent
- CIPD or recognised training qualification Desirable criteria
- Other Business or administrative qualification
- Professional administrative experience within a medical Education setting, Knowledge of designing/ delivery/ facilitation of fit for purpose learning solutions
- Understanding of learning approaches such as blended learning, coaching etc., Experience of designing/ delivering/ facilitating fit for purpose learning solutions and evaluating effectiveness.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience of building project plans and supporting short and long term projects
- Experience of managing a small budget or purchasing resources within a defined budget
- Significant experience using the full range of MS Office products internet and e-mail packages.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to time manage effectively
- Knowledge of specialist systems used to support projects, Knowledge of project management methodology
- Ability to pick up non routine tasks and prioritise workload, Demonstrate alignment with Trust Values (6 C's: Commitment, Communication, Care, Courage, Compassion, Competency)
