The first project is a UKRI-funded project developing, testing, and publicising a tool to assist researchers in improving the quality of shared code. In addition to contributing to the research and development related to the code-sharing tool you will also assume responsibility for coordinating outreach, publicity and feedback among potential users of the tool.
The second project is a Coefficient Giving-funded expansion of the existing of the TrialsTracker project. This project has assessed ongoing compliance with clinical trial reporting requirements in the US and EU since 2018. You will have the opportunity to develop domain expertise in the field of clinical trial registration, reporting, and regulation and contribute to the future development and expansion of the TrialsTrackers alongside a related programme of research.

The candidate will have a strong research background, relevant domain knowledge, clear communication skills, and ideally have experience in mixed-methods research and/or s software development. There will also be scope to contribute original research ideas and aiding the team in pursuing additional funding opportunities.
You will be based in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work but you will be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager.
