Full Job Description

The researcher will study the neurobiological basis of 'safety in numbers', how animals decrease fear responses in groups, using Drosophila melanogaster. The project integrates quantitative behavioural analysis, Drosophila genetics, functional imaging, and connectomics.

We welcome applicants with a background in neuroscience, behavioural biology, or a related discipline. Experience in one of the following areas is desirable: Drosophila genetics and husbandry, Quantitative behavioural analysis, Functional imaging, Connectomics / circuit-level data analysis.
