Full Job Description
The School of Health, Social Work and Sport are seeking a Post-doctoral Research Assistant to work on an NIHR-funded project, 'Unseen, unreported, unprotected: disabled Black African/Caribbean and South Asian women's experiences of domestic violence and abuse in England'. We have a growing and vibrant research community of innovative academics and postgraduate students. The post holder will contribute to the planning of the research and the conduct of high-quality qualitative research, including data collection, transcribing, analysis and the writing up of findings., Our people are our most important asset. The successful applicant should hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant area and a PhD in a subject aligned to social care or in the social sciences. You should have recent research experience in an appropriate academic or professional setting, including conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research and undertaking literature reviews.
There may occasional travel required within the Northwest and to London for data collection.
