Post CCT Fellow Emergency Medicine

We are looking for senior doctors who have obtained a CCT/ CESR in emergency medicine (or are within 6 months of successful completion) to join our large friendly team and contribute to delivering excellent, patient centred care alongside our established consultant body. We understand the complexity involved in exiting the current EM training programme and the current competitive climate in obtaining locum or substantive consultant positions. We have designed these positions as a mutually beneficial appointment in which you will gain experience at consultant level in a highly skilled and experienced team, to bolster your CV and enhance your future appointment as an EM consultant. Atypical, flexible or individualised rotas are possible. Each post is initially for 6 months with the possibility of an extension if desired., The Department offers a wide range of services to a diverse patient population. We are a Trauma Unit, have expertise in toxicology, simulation, medical education and leadership. We manage a co-located Urgent Care Centre and Paediatric Emergency Department. The new consultant will help run and develop the adult services that are integrated with other teams across our Emergency Floor. They will be expected to take an active role in research and development and to participate in the teaching programs of the department.
