Porter

Are you looking for a temporary role as a Porter at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!, As a Porter at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation of patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital. You will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth running of the hospital by ensuring that everything is where it needs to be in a timely manner.
You will also be expected to provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff members. This includes being courteous, helpful, and respectful at all times.
Other duties may include cleaning and maintaining equipment, assisting with patient transfers, and following all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.

To be successful in this role, you should have strong communication skills, be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, and have a positive attitude towards customer service. Previous experience as a Porter in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential.
It is important that you are able to work well in a team and follow instructions effectively. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are also key skills for this role.
