An exciting opportunity has arisen within Corporate Services and Transformation for an enthusiastic, versatile and self-motivated Policy and Performance Officer. You will work alongside other colleagues to support and embed a fully integrated Quality Assurance & Performance Management Framework within Children's Services to ensure strong performance and continual improvement within operational teams.
This role will include tracking performance, undertaking analyses, interpretating and visualising data, and reporting results to managers, leaders and other key decision makers. The post will be based at County Hall in Matlock and will include some hybrid working.
What will you bring to the role?
- You'll have experience of analysing data or managing business performance.
- You'll have good excel and other technical skills and have an excellent attention to detail.
- You might even have experience with power BI or another visualisation tool but this is not essential.
- You'll have experience of bringing together a wide range of intelligence and uncovering meaning within that data.
- You'll be able to create a story with data so teams and managers can understand what numbers are telling them and how they can use this to continually improve.
- You will have experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders including staff at all levels in the organisation.
If you're educated to degree level or equivalent and have excellent IT, communication and presentation skills, we would like to hear from you.
