Policy and Campaigns Officer (Scotland)

The British Dietetic Association, founded in 1936, is the professional Association for registered dietitians in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It is the nation’s largest organisation of food and nutrition professionals with more than 12,500 members.The successful candidate would be a member of the Policy, Campaigns and Public Affairs team and will work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure that high-quality policy advice and guidance is provided to the four country boards and the Trade Union National Executive Committee, drawing on insight from colleagues across policy, communications, professional practice and trade union functions to support joined up and effective delivery.The successful candidate is expected to protect the integrity and good standing of the profession and the BDA at all times, upholding the values of the Association (Professional, Dynamic, Innovative).About the roleWe’re looking for a Policy and Campaigns Officer to lead our work in Scotland. You’ll develop policies, monitor political activity, and deliver advocacy to support dietitians.
