As a Plumbing & Heating Engineer, you will: Carry out planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance on a wide range of mechanical, plumbing, and heating systems.Diagnose and repair complex faults on plant, equipment, and building services. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our Estates Team within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. You will support the safe and effective delivery of patient care by maintaining essential building services and mechanical systems across our sites., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.,

• Completed an accredited Mechanical apprenticeship training course to a minimum level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent plus relevant training or equivalent experience, plus additional training and developed skills e.g. air conditioning
• High level of knowledge and understanding of electrical/mechanical services/systems and a working knowledge of other associated trades. Familiarity with approved guidance documents
Desirable
• Evidence of significant CPD
• JIB Registration
• Knowledge of Health Technical Memoranda
• General awareness of other engineering maintenance related statutory legislation
Experience Essential
• H&V Systems
• LTHW Systems
• DHW Systems
• BMS engineering maintenance
• Completion of a structured training programme

• Previous experience of working within the NHS, Excellent communication skills. Willing to develop individual knowledge
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Current Full Driving licence
