Introduction
Join Tencer Ltd as a Plumbing Apprentice and learn on the job alongside experienced engineers. We're looking for someone from the Buckinghamshire area who wants to develop practical plumbing skills across a variety of commercial and domestic projects while working towards a recognised qualification.
About the Employer
Tencer Ltd is an established Mechanical and Electrical Building Services company based in High Wycombe. Since 1984, we've provided installation, maintenance and repair services across a wide range of commercial and public sector buildings, including schools, healthcare facilities, offices and emergency services sites.
We're proud to employ our own team of experienced engineers and are committed to developing the next generation of skilled professionals through apprenticeships. As an apprentice, you'll be supported by knowledgeable colleagues, gain hands-on experience across a variety of sites and become part of a friendly, well-established team.
What You'll Do
- Assist experienced engineers with plumbing installations, repairs and maintenance
- Learn to install and maintain pipework, sanitaryware and plumbing systems
- Support planned maintenance and reactive repair works
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Help diagnose and resolve plumbing faults
- Carry out site housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment
- Travel to commercial and domestic sites with engineers
- Complete job sheets and records using company systems
- Learn to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Attend college and complete apprenticeship coursework alongside practical training
Training Outcome
Successful completion of the apprenticeship may lead to a permanent role within our plumbing team. With continued training and experience, there will be opportunities to develop your skills, take on greater responsibility and progress your career within the business.
