Would you like to focus on your trade and not sourcing materials, writing quotes or chasing customers for payment?
Do you enjoy supporting residents of the city with their plumbing repairs?
Do you have a full clean driver's licence?
You must hold a City and Guilds or NQF level 2 or equivalent in plumbing to apply
If so, we'd welcome your application to work within our busy Housing Repairs and Maintenance Service.
We are looking for someone who is keen and motivated to join our friendly team within Brighton & Hove City Council. You will be carrying our plumbing repairs across our services and delivering a high level of customer service.
Our team members say they enjoy working in Housing Repairs because "Every day is completely different, we really get a chance to help people from the local community, and it feels great to have made a difference at the end of the day" All uniform and equipment is provided along with a full induction with job shadowing during your first week. A standard working week of 42.5hrs (Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00). Your starting salary will be £40,503.00, with an annual pay increase. The opportunity of overtime and call out shifts are available.
