This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Promise Inclusion. Playworker - Wokingham at Smile for Sibs club. Average 2 hours per week - £7.55 - £8.60 per hour (16-18-year-olds).


We have a vacancy for a Playworker at our Wokingham Smiles for Sibs group, which runs on a Thursday (term-time only) between 4.30pm and 6.15pm at the Woodley Airfield Centre. The children at Sibs are aged 8-13 and come to club to get some me time as they have a sibling with a learning disability including those with profound and multiple learning disabilities.


The Playworkers will assist in providing activities at the club including playing games, arts & crafts, cooking, outdoor activities, and occasional holiday day trips. We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated people to join our team. Experience of working in similar positions is desirable, but training will be given for the successful applicant. Our office base is now in Wokingham.


References, an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and a Right to Work check will be carried out on the successful candidates.
