playworker

The governing body are seeking to appoint a playworker to join our after-school club team from 1st June 2026 or before if possible. Duties include:

• Safeguarding the children in your care.
• Providing and managing appropriate activities for children in the hall and/or outside on the school playground.
• Preparing a snack for the children.

Provisional Interview Date: 26 March 2026 Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
