Play/Youth Worker
Organisation: Association of Voluntary Organisations in Wrexham (AVOW)
Location: Plas Madoc and Caia Park, Wrexham
Hours: 16 hours per week
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Closing date: 28 April 2026 (12:00pm - midday)
Interview date: 6 May 2026
This post is initially funded for 12 months
AVOW is recruiting a part-time Play/Youth Worker to help facilitate play opportunities, and to support children and young people to build confidence and relationships. The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm and innovation to the team's work on the adventure playgrounds and will also facilitate welcoming and inclusive community groups for adults and families.
A level 2 qualification in playwork, youth work, or an equivalent qualification, is required.
