Due to company growth are recruiting a CNC Plasma Operator, preferably with experience operating plasma cutters, forklift and overhead cranes.

The Company

• World Leaders in welding and robot manipulation.
• Able to provide bespoke solutions to a World Class Customer Base.
• We design and manufacture high precision mechanical products for use in the production of wind turbines, the nuclear and defence sectors, general engineering, and oil and gas industries.
• Our machining is working mainly with ferrous but some non-ferrous metals, working to high precision tolerances.
• Progressive forward thinking and expanding due to growth.

The Job

• The main role will be operating a CNC plasma cutting machine.
• Loading and unloading steel plate and cut components.
• Checking part quality.
• Basic machine maintenance.
• Nesting of parts to CAM soft wear - training will be given.
• Assisting with production, logistics and other general duties.

Essential attributes

• Forklift truck license / experience
• Honest and reliable
• Self-motivated
• Physically fit
• Experience in the use of power tools
• Good communication skills
• A flexible approach to working hours

Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm. Fridays 7:30am - 4pm.

Holiday entitlement - 20 days + 8 bank holidays (+1 birthday holiday).

The company has a shutdown over the Christmas period.
