Rocket Staffing are currently recruiting experienced Plant & Agg Fitter to join a busy team based in Bracknell. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals looking for long-term work with consistent hours. About the Job

  • Repair, maintain and service all HGV equipment along with other plant as required
  • Ensure you work in compliance with Health and Safety policies
  • Carry out routine, servicing and MOT preparation
  • Carry out all repairs in a cost-effective manner
  • Completion of all documentation as required and ensure accurate records are kept
  • Record and report damagers and defects
  • Ensure inspections are carried out in specified time periods General Company
  • Work involves interpreting drawings or specifications, planning work activity, producing individual components, and re-furbishing components.
  • Personal and team adherence to existing working practices, methods and procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and respond positively to new and alternative systems
  • Proactive approach to Health Safety and Environment and to co-operate with the Company s HSEQ Manager with relevant Health, Safety and Environment legislation, policies, and processes.

    Good knowledge and experience of HGV s and associated accessories
  • NVQ qualified preferred but not essential
  • IRTEC certification essential
  • Deep understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and the ability to use a range of hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of Safe Loading Working Devices
  • HGV licence preferred but bot essential
  • Able to service, diagnose and repair various types of specialist equipment
