Role Overview - Planning ManagerOmega are delighted to be supporting a leading aerospace manufacturing organisation in the recruitment of a Planning Manager.This is a key leadership role responsible for driving planning performance across a complex manufacturing operation. Working closely with Operations, Supply Chain and senior stakeholders, you'll ensure customer demand, production capacity and material availability are aligned to deliver outstanding service and operational performance.
Main Duties - Planning ManagerLead and develop the Planning teamTranslate customer demand into achievable production plansBalance demand, capacity and material availabilityDrive schedule adherence and delivery performanceSupport S&OP and wider planning activitiesIdentify risks, constraints and recovery actionsWork closely with Operations, Supply Chain and Engineering teamsDrive continuous improvement across planning processes and systems
The Ideal Candidate - Planning ManagerPrevious experience in a Planning Manager, Master Scheduler or Production Planning roleStrong manufacturing planning backgroundExperience leading and developing teamsGood understanding of ERP/MRP systemsExperience managing production schedules, capacity and inventoryStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAerospace, defence or another regulated manufacturing environment desirable
