Full Job Description

Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) is currently looking to recruit a full time Planner Scheduler (40 hours per week), for a 24 Month Fixed Term Contract, based in either Carlisle or Workington.

If you are looking for an exciting new role, this is a great opportunity to join the CCHA Team.

We recruit not just on existing skills and experience, but just as importantly on potential and attitude. We encourage applications even if you don't feel you meet all of the essential criteria in the job pack.

The impact you will have as a Planner:

As a Planner Scheduler, you will be part of a professional and customer focused team and will have responsibility for providing an efficient and effective service to all our customers. You will be carrying out appointment planning, allocating property repair and maintenance works as well as monitoring and updating records accurately and promptly for works completed.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be the primary liaison for customers, clients and work colleagues, primarily by telephone to ensure that property repairs and maintenance works are carried out as required in timely manners.

You'll be creating, maintaining and storing records in accordance with our internal systems and processes, ensuring that everything can be located efficiently. You will manage incoming enquiries effectively, providing clear and accurate advice, or signposting where appropriate.

We're looking for someone who is a fantastic communicator, someone who can use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. You'll be someone who is results focused and is able to take ownership of tasks. You'll need to be a good team player and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

It would be advantageous if you have any experience or exposure to a social housing setting.

If you have experience of planning and scheduling resources to conduct repairs and maintenance activities, that would be ideal.

CCHA owns and manages more than 7,400 homes across the North of England in Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and North Lancashire. As an Association, we focus on the needs of the local communities we serve, tackling the housing crisis, improving services within our communities, and use our strength and efficiency to meet housing service needs. We are committed to providing excellent services to our customers.
