Planned Works Supervisor

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Planned Works Supervisor to take ownership of a designated patch in Derbyshire, overseeing the successful delivery of planned investment and refurbishment programmes across our housing stock.

Your Role Will Include:

Taking full responsibility for a designated geographical patch, ensuring planned works projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Supervising the delivery of planned investment programmes, including kitchen and bathroom replacements, roofing works, windows and doors, external works, and property refurbishments.

Managing operatives and subcontractors across multiple workstreams, ensuring productivity, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.

Carrying out site inspections and surveys to scope works, monitor progress, and ensure specifications are met.

Conducting quality inspections and sign-offs, ensuring all works comply with company standards and client expectations.

️ Monitoring and enforcing health and safety compliance across all sites, ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues, contractors, and residents.

Managing project performance, budgets, KPIs, and programme delivery targets to achieve successful outcomes.

Handling customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and positively.

Working closely with residents, housing teams, planners, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered smoothly with minimal disruption.

Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting initiatives that enhance service delivery and operational performance.

SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) - Essential.

Strong trade background (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, plastering, roofing, or general building) with excellent multi-trade knowledge.

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a relevant trade (desirable).

Proven experience supervising planned works, capital investment programmes, refurbishment projects, repairs, or maintenance contracts within social housing or a similar environment.

Strong understanding of planned maintenance programmes, project delivery, quality standards, and customer-focused services.

Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and workloads effectively.

Excellent communication, organisation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience managing KPIs, contractor performance, budgets, and programme delivery targets.

Full UK Driving Licence.
